ChongSu15, Part 1

(1) The author neither uses nor condones the use of cannabis, but figures by
the year 2600 there may be a good use of it.  (2)The author does not think of
ChongSu as being Chinese since by then there will be so much intermarrying of
the races that there will no longer be a distinction of races.  (3) The
semicolon in the green-skinned girl's name is pronounced with a click sound.

Part 1

The year is 2657.  ChongSu15 was approaching her seventh birthday.  At age
seven all girls were to be sent to a special school.  Most of the learning
now is done by computer but a few physical skill still must be learned by
physical and visual instruction.  Smoking is one such skill.  It was
discovered in 2315 that the combination of a chemical now known as ts4 with a
mixture of 85% hybrid tobacco, 10% cannabis sativa, and 5% spearmint leaves
prevented most diseases known to humans, inclucing heart disease, diabetes,
and most kinds of blindness.  By 2350, 90% of the world's population was
smoking this combination.  In 2400, the year was declared a jublilee year by
the recognized  leader of the earth PIRKEP(an acronym for
PopeImamRabbiKingEmperorPresident)Pius Muhammad Goldstein.  A special law was
enacted which declared that smoking by all the world population was to be
mandatory for all persons over the age of seven, unless specifically
certified by a doctor for such a condition as an allergy to the mint or
cannabis.  Research was in progress to work on cures for these allergies.  

By this time, the whole planet had perfected Karl Marx's idea of communism
and the idea of money was a thing of the past.  As part of the jubilee
yearlaws it was made illegal for anyone on earth to charge anyone for any
products or services.  People could order any products by computer to be
delivered to their homes.  Since there was no apparant value or reason to
request more products than needed, there was little hoarding or abuse of the
free products.  

There was some interplanetary trade with beings from the three closest
populaated planets.  What was exchanged were technological ideas and
nurishment and health ideas for the exchanging planets.    (end of page 1)
