Maternal Instinct

My wife was practically born a smoker.  Now, at 30, she has taken the position
of a smoking advocate.  She works with quite a few teens and has encouraged
many of them to start.  She often invites the girls over to use our pool or
just hang out, and to give them a place where they can smoke.  Her attitude is
very positive and I support her totally.

Her entire family has always considered smoking to be a good thing and without
limitations.  So I wasn't surprised to find that two of her nieces smoked when
they came to visit us for the summer.  The girls were Sally 14, Jenny 11, and
8 years old Amber; all but the youngest a smoker.  I had never been around
smokers so young, but my wife didn't give it a second thought.  Both of the
girls smoked without reservation and consumed over a pack a day.

It was a warm summer day as we all gathered around the pool.  The older girls
played in the pool while my wife and the youngest sunbathed.   My wife lit one
of her ever-present More 120 menthols and relaxed.  Amber came over and sat at
the feet of her lounge chair.

"Can I try one of your cigarettes auntie?"

"Well of course you can sweetie.  Is this your first cigarette?"

Amber nodded yes.

"Why haven't you tried one of your mommy's?  You know she wouldn't mind."

"But yours look so much nicer than mom's."

My wife sat up and held the long brown cigarette vertically between them.
"Yes, they do look nice."

She then tenderly held the cigarette to Amber's lips.  The eight year old took
a deep drag and inhaled as if it were a breath of fresh air.   She held her
breath for a moment then letting out a tight stream.  My wife looked at her
with a huge smile, congratulated her, and gave her a big hug.  She then held
the cigarette to Amber's lips again, her smile growing ever wider.  This
continued throughout the day, my wife offering tips and encouragement with
each drag.  By the end of the day Amber had smoked 5 cigarettes and was now
lighting her own.

We all retired to bed after letting the kids stay up late.  My wife was
beaming with a pride and happiness I had never seen before.

"I really feel bad that my sister wasn't the first to introduce Amber to
smoking."  She said while getting undressed.  "But I've never felt so?.so like
a mother before in my life!  It felt so wonderful to take the good things I've
learned in life and give them to the next generation." My wife lit one of her
long brown beauties and crawled into bed.  We were soon exchanging smoky
kisses.  I had never seen her so passionate before in bed.  She soon broke the
kissing to light another cigarette.  I then began to reach over to the drawer
to retrieve a condom, our preferred method of birth control.  My wife
intercepted my arm on its way to the nightstand.

"Not tonight?.lets make a smoker of our own?.
