Chapter 3: Late Morning

After I finished cleaning up, I came out of the bathroom to find Kelly
starting up my computer.  I asked what she was doing.

She got up and sat at the bar to have another cigarette.  "There's got to be
examples of women smoking on the Internet that you can show me.  I want to see
what other women look like and try to find my own style that pleases both of
us."  She has never had a problem with pornography, even enjoys watching a
video every now and again to get the mood going, but actively searching for
porn was, again, something new.

"I can take you to a couple web sites that have quite a variety of pictures,
maybe even some streaming video.  But I have to warn you, I may become
aroused," I said with a smirk.

"I hope you do get aroused!  It'll put you in the mood for later... " she said
smiling mischievously.

After we finished our cigarettes, where I made some suggestions like taking
longer inhales, holding the smoke in longer, different types of inhales, and
other ideas, we sat at the computer and went to some web sites.

I started off slow, going to web sites with less nudity and focusing more on
smoking.  I showed her examples of women doing large and small snap inhales.
Pictures of french inhales.  We watched a short video of a woman doing a
double pump.  Large exhales, nose exhales, talking exhales ("Hey - I do that
already!" she said excitedly), how a woman can hold a cigarette differently,
and different light-ups.  Even what kind of cigarettes are appealing, leaning
toward the longer varieties with white filters.

"A lot of the pictures you pointed out show women that almost look like
models."

"I think for me, it's not so much the body.  I always look at the eyes - not
that I like heavy make-up, but there's something very sexy about a woman who
has dark eyes.  I've heard it referred to as "smoky" eyes.  There were quite a
few that also showed women with their eyes half-open or closed completely that
simply look like they are really enjoying themselves."

I could almost hear the wheels turning in her head and wondered if I was going
a bit too far.  Kelly seemed to be interested and even excited, but this was a
lot to absorb in a couple short hours.  I sincerely hoped I wasn't making
myself out to be completely obsessive.

We continued to surf, having a smoke much more frequently than usual.  Of
course, looking at others smoke always makes you want to smoke more yourself.
Then we started getting into some of the heavier pictures.  Full nudes, people
having oral and regular sex while smoking, lesbians smoking, even a couple S&M
pictures.  Kelly just sat there watching, directing the surfing now and then.
She even noticed the slight bulge in my shorts and smiled at me, but hadn't
really said anything for a while.  Then we came across some pictures of women
smoking marijuana.

"I can't believe people would let their pictures be taken while doing drugs!"
Kelly was pretty firmly in the anti-drug category of life.

"I don't think it's really any big deal."

She looked a little shocked.  "You don't think doing drugs is a big deal?"

"Not pot, no.  I mean, it's illegal and all, but I don't think it's as bad as
different people make it out to be.  There are a lot of other potentially
harmful drugs out there, certainly more than pot, which really hasn't been
proven to be any more damaging than drinking.  It's all about moderation - the
stories you hear about drug addicts are those where it gets completely out of
control for a person and they destroy their life.  Marijuana hasn't even been
proven to be addicting."

She eyed me suspiciously and said, "You've smoked marijuana before, haven't
you."

"Actually, no I haven't, but I've always been rather curious about it."

"Why haven't you tried it?  I'm sure there's guys around here you could smoke
pot with."

"I guess the right opportunity hasn't presented itself.  I could go talk to
Sean or Greg, they both smoke pot on a regular basis, but I guess I never
wanted to just sit in a room full of other guys and get stoned for the first
time.  I guess I was thinking I would prefer to try it in private first.  That
probably sounds weird."

She thought for a moment and said, "Maybe a little weird, but maybe you don't
want to watch guys smoking; you would rather see some girls doing it."  I
smiled a little, slightly embarrassed.  

"Do you think these women that are smoking it in these pictures are sexy?" she
asked, but it was a much more tentative than accusatory question, which threw
me a little.  She seem against it completely three seconds ago.

"I think the same way I do about the pictures of women smoking cigarettes - it
all depends on the style.  That aside, to answer your question, yes, I think
some of these women smoking pot are sexy.  Some are not sexy to me.  Sexiness
is all about pleasure, and I imagine that people who get high do it for the
pleasure."

She seemed somewhat placated by my answer but still not sure, and let it go at
that.  It made me again wonder if I had gone too far and if this would all
blow up in my face.

After a little more surfing, "I don't see many pictures of men smoking."

Do you want to?" I asked.  I wasn't familiar with web sites that focused on
men smoking, although I felt sure there couldn't be that many.  

"Yeah, I think women are sexier, but I would like to see some pictures of men
smoking too, just for comparison.  Maybe you could pick up a pointer or two
for yourself."  She said jokingly, and I knew things were cool again.

So we surfed and found some pictures of men smoking, and Kelly definitely
agreed with me that women are far sexier smokers than men are.

It was almost 1:00 when we decided to get some lunch.  I also had to do some
research at the library with another group of people at 1:30, which Kelly
already knew about and had planned on going shopping during that time.  I had
her drop me off at the library and said I would be back probably around 5:00.
