Epilogue - Part 8

2 days later.............

"How's Haven nowadays?"

"Great.  The students are getting on fine.  Their parents are not too 
happy but we don't care.  A wee talk with them and their concerns 
disappear.  Where are you right now?"

"I am actually getting ready for school - in Collybridge.  I am 
really nervous." 

"Are you still going out with Martin yet?"

"Nah, we are just best friends.  We both share a deep understanding 
now  - always have done.  He has returned to his police job.  The 
boss wondered what happened to him when he never came back til the 
following day.  However, it took little coaxing for his boss to come 
around in the end.  After all, he joins Martin now in the smoking 
section at work."

"Aww its a shame you two are not an item.  Together you both look so 
cute."

"Anyway, are you enjoying my gifts?"

"I am so grateful. I can't thank you enough.  As I said, the 
atmosphere in school is so relaxed right now.  There is no hassle 
when you want to smoke in class - because the rest of them are 
already lighting up before we begin.  Each desk is now occupied with 
a built-in ashtray - a suggestion our technology department were more 
than happy to take up on.  My family wonder why i smell of smoke 
everytime i go home, but I just say that I am making new smoking 
friends.  They buy that excuse anyway coz I was never really close to 
my family anyway.  Everytime the authorities send an agent out to try 
closing down the school, I convert him into a fan of the new system.  
I normally give them their first pack of cigarettes before they 
report back to HQ."

"That book on black magic you gave me is just brilliant!  I am 
learning more from it all the time - and my powers are getting 
stronger."

"Oh well, it was nice hearing from you again.  Glad to hear 
everything is going swell.  I hope I can make just as good friends at 
my new school as I did at Haven."

"I am sure you will, Skye - talk to you soon."

"Bye Pamela."

The telephone line went dead.
