Nadia at 14 - A Smoking Girls Story
by Nikita

Chapter 6 - Smokers' Grotto

Nadia leaned over to a languidly reposed Jeannie. Tapping her on the
shoulder, she whispered almost conspiratorially, "Jeannie, want to go out to
the garden?" Nadia smiled as Jeannie nodded.

"Sure, it's been a while. Let's go." They each picked up their beach bags,
shouldering them.

"Back in a bit," Nadia smiled to Marie and Bobby.

They were holding hands as they snuggled on the adjacent lounge chair.
Marie's beige two-piece didn't leave much to Bobby's imagination. His
baggies hid her effect on him. Everyone agreed they made a cute couple.
"See ya," Marie replied and returned her attention to Bobby.

Jeannie and Nadia headed down the path, stopping to say hello to Brent and
Bobby. Each waved to Amber and Tiffany who had just come up for air in the
middle of the pool.

"I got a whole pack, Jeannie," Nadia whispered. "And a lighter, too."

Jeannie laughed. "You never were one to go half way, were you?"

Nadia grinned. "Nope, guess not."

As they turned the corner into the little hidden grove, Melanie was lighting
her cigarette. "Oh m'god!" she squealed, nearly losing it.

"It's ok, Melanie. We're cool."

Melanie breathed a sigh of relief.

Brittany simply said hello as she drew deeply on her Virginia Slims Menthol
Light, exhaling a soft, gray stream. She and Jeannie had smoked together
before. Jeannie took out her pack of Marlboro Menthol Lights, tapping out
one as Nadia peeled the cellophane off her pack of Virginia Slims Menthols.
"You smoking now, Nadia?" Melanie asked, now fully recovered. It was obvious
that Nadia was, but it seemed the thing to say at the time.

"Um hmm," Nadia said, tearing away the foil and tapping out a cigarette. "I
just started. She offered one to Jeannie who raised her own cigarette.

"Got one, thanks."

Taking one of her own for herself, Nadia smiled as she raised her lighter to
Jeannie's cigarette. "Here, let me." Jeannie touched her hand softly as
Nadia lit her, then lit her own. They inhaled simultaneously, their chests
rising as they did, each tilting their chin up, exhaling softly into the
spring day. "Ooooo, these are a bit different," Nadia remarked. "But I like
them!"

"I think they're a bit stronger than mine, Nadia, but you're right. They ARE
nice," Jeannie said as she took another puff, finally exhaling with a
satisfied sigh.

"Are you sure you just started, Nadia," Brittany asked with a smile. "You
look like you've been smoking for a while, girl."

Nadia laughed, taking another puff, exhaling. "Well, I had good teachers,
Brit." "How long have you been smoking, Melanie?"

"I just started about 2 months ago now. You know. Regularly." Melanie
inhaled another puff, holding it for what seemed an eternity. She barely
exhaled any smoke at all. Melanie's soft brown hair matched her dark brown
eyes. She was another of the eighth grade stunners. But with a cigarette
she looked more like a junior in high school. Her little red bikini helped
that image. She smoked Marlboro Lights, a favorite among the junior high
set.

Britt had been smoking since the summer after her sixth grade year. It
showed. She was comfortable with her cigarette, inhaling fully, blowing out
what seemed like an endless stream of smoke. She had an older cousin, she'd
explained to Jeannie. She was on a visit when her cousin introduced her to
smoking and she'd had the entire summer to learn. She was almost up to a
pack a day when she finally told her mother she was smoking. There were a
few words but not much more. Her mother started smoking at about the same
age and now bought them for her daughter on her weekly shopping trips. Britt
was allowed to smoke at home. Not too many of the kids her age could claim
that.

Nadia took another puff on her cigarette, sighing as she exhaled. "God, this
is good! I'm glad I gave myself this birthday present."

"Nadia? May I try one of yours?" asked Melanie.

Nadia broke from her dream state. "Uh, sure, Melanie. But these are
menthols. Do you like them?"

"Oh, yeah, I've had them before. I really like the VSM 120s sometimes, too."

Nadia tapped the pack against her wrist, freeing a few cigarettes and
extended the pack to Melanie. Melanie took one, held it between her first
and middle fingers at the first joint. "Light?" Nadia asked as she pulled
out her new lighter.

Melanie smiled, bringing her cigarette to her lips, leaning in to accept the
light. She drew easily, cheeks collapsing as she did, smiled a "thank you"
to Nadia as she opened her mouth and inhaled. She tossed her head, exhaling
a lovely stream; then pulled out her compact and flipped it open, somehow
managing both it and the cigarette as she pulled out her lipstick for a quick
touch-up. She loved the cherry red color on her full lips. She wore rose
make up, including the mascara and shadow, accenting the eyes with a deeper
shade of rose liner. Satisfied with the total effect, she put the cap on her
lipstick, snapped shut her compact, depositing them both in her bag. She
took another longer puff, withdrawing her cigarette by the tips of her middle
and index finger, parking it stylishly next to her face; then tipped her chin
and exhaled. She nudged Nadia as she noticed Billy and Keisha entering the
garden enclave.

"Hi, Billy, Keisha. Having a good time?" Nadia greeted, always the good
hostess. She brought her cigarette to her lips, opened her mouth and inhaled
with a smile

"Umm hmmm. Thanks, Nadia. We are. Hey! You're smoking!!" Keisha grinned.

Nadia exhaled with a turn of her head. "Yeah, I just started. It's nice."
A wisp of smoke trailed from her nose as she spoke.

"Well, it looks good on you, girl! She turned to the others. Hi, Jeannie.
Good to see you, Melanie. Hey, Brit. Cute outfit!!" Keisha cooed.

Billy nodded appreciatively, saying his hellos to each of the girls.

Billy was 5' 9" already, nearly 150 pounds. His sandy blonde hair, always
slightly mussed of course, easy smile and ready laugh assured that he was
already a favorite of the girls.

Keisha was a lovely young girl, only 4' 11" with a tiny waist, promising
hips, loving budding breasts filling out her 32B bra. Her soft chocolate
brown skin, dark brown eyes and soft black curls contrasted nicely with
Billy. She had the cutest little turned up nose and eyes of deepest brown.
Her sparkling blue eye shadow highlighted her perfectly. She had chosen an
autumn red lipstick and matching nail polish to finish the look.

Keisha reached into her bag, withdrawing her black leather cigarette case and
snapped it open. She picked one of her Marlboro Menthol Lights from the
pack, quickly shifting it to between her middle and index finger. As she
raised it toward her lips, she looking into Billy's eyes, "Give me a light,
Billy?" Her voice fairly lilted at times like these. Billy nodded and took
his lighter from his pocket, never allowing his eyes to leave Keisha's. He
smiled as he brought his Zippo to Keisha's cigarette, flicked the wheel as
Keisha gently inhaled, her eyes half closed as she did so, drawing the flame
to the tip. Billy lowered the lighter as Keisha opened her eyes to join
Billy's once more, withdrawing the cigarette, it's filter now stained autumn
red, from her lips. She opened her mouth slightly as she drew the smoke
deeply into her, her breasts rising as she did. "Thank you, Billy." He
nodded transfixed as she tilted her chin and exhaled.

"Billy?" Nadia asked as she raised her cigarette, centering it between her
lips. Billy smiled, bringing his Zippo back to life. "When did you start
smoking, Nadia?" Nadia touched his hand as he brought the lighter into
range. "Today, Billy, but I already love it." She held her cigarette
between her lips and drew easily as the flame bent toward it. Nadia inhaled
briskly, looking up into Billy's eyes, then tilting her chin up and to the
right, exhaled languidly. Billy barely breathed at all. Nadia just smiled.
"Thanks, Billy."

"Welcome," he said. "You're sure looking good, Nadia."

"Thank you, Billy." She smiled over to Keisha.

Keisha returned her smile and brought her cigarette to her lips, Nadia
following her lead. They inhaled simultaneously, held, then exhaled twin
streams.

"Keisha, you look so cute in that outfit," Nadia fairly gushed. Keisha held
her cigarette close to her face, the smoke curling from the tip. She wore a
deep green two-piece and a matching shirt jacket.

"You, too, Nadia. Pink is definitely your color, girl." She smiled as she
nodded toward Billy. "And I think Billy likes you, too, especially smoking,"
she whispered and took another puff.

Nadia leaned in toward Keisha. "Why's that?"

"Well," Keisha returned, "Some guys just do. That's all. Did you see his
face? And he can't stop staring at you either!"

Nadia giggled softly. "You think? Keisha, you smoke so much better than I
do."

Keisha's eyes twinkled. "You do just fine, girlfriend!"

Nadia noticed that Billy paid special attention to each girl as she raised a
cigarette to her lips. She decided to experiment and with a bit of a
flourish brought her cigarette to her lips slowly, eyes apparently focused
somewhere far away. Yes, no mistaking it, Billy's head fairly snapped to her
as she took a puff and returned the cigarette to the side of her face,
inhaling as she did. She caught the mesmerized look in Billy's eyes as her
chest rose, then fell, as she began a deliberately theatrical exhale. There
was no mistaking it. She'd caught Billy's attention.

"Damn, Keisha. You're right, girl! Are all the guys like this?"

"No. Some don't like us smoking at all. You know that." Keisha replied,
"But the ones who do REALLY do."

"But Billy doesn't even smoke, Keisha." "Nope. He doesn't. But he sure
does enjoy us smoking!"

Billy's attention had turned to Jeannie when she did a nice French inhale
distractedly. Jeannie noticed and winked with a smile. Billy blushed but
didn't turn away as Jeannie exhaled toward him. "Oh god," Billy thought to
himself, "Jeannie is sooooo hot!" He was glad he hadn't worn his speedo or
Jeannie would have known all too well how he felt. It was a good thing for
Billy that Keisha wasn't the jealous type.
