Part 2

   Carol noticed the light blue color of the cigarette.  Following Sarah's
instructions, she placed it in her mouth and lit it.  Her mother had her take
a few puffs to get her used to how it was done.  She then was told how to
inhale.  Five drags later, she put it out.  Her parents left her alone to do
the required paperwork.
   She found form one and filled it out.

You are to follow any future instructions you read.  Keep the pack with you at
all times.  You are required to smoke another in an hour.  Please inhale every
puff after it's lit.  Immediately fill out form two when you are done.  If you
fail to do so, we reserve the right to cancel the contract.  Only you are to
read these forms.  Discuss them with no one.  Please sign your agreement and
date this, then seal it in the envelope and sign the seal.  If the envelope is
tampered with or others read these, we reserve the right to cancel the
contract.

Carol signed, did the rest and looked at the pack of cigarettes.  'Nikki' was
written in rainbow colors on the red pack.  She opened it and looked inside.
She saw a yellow, red, and green cigarette.  She thought it looked cool.  She
went to give the letter to her dad.  I have to smoke again in an hour.  They
want me to carry them with me.  Here's the form."

   "It's Ok Carol.  Your mother and I agreed to this," Phil told her.  "One
hour it is."

   The hour passed and Carol sat in the kitchen to have her required
cigarette.  She took a one and lit it.  She remembered to inhale.  

   Julie came downstairs.  She saw her parents sitting in the living room.
"What's that smell?"

   "Carol is smoking in the kitchen," her father told her.  "It's for a
study."

   "I'm going to check on her and start dinner." Sarah announced.

   "She is?  I want to see," Julie said as she followed her mother.  Carol was
exhaling her fourth drag when Julie saw her.  She noticed the yellow cigarette
in her hand.  She sat across from her and stared.

   "What?" Carol asked.  She took another drag.

   "You really are smoking," Julie said as Carol exhaled.

   "Yes I am," Carol replied.  "I have to tell some company about it to help
them."  Another drag.  "It's not bad."  She took another four drags before
finishing.  "I've got to fill out a form alone Julie, can you please help mom
while I do?"

   "Ok Carol."  When Julie left, Carol did the form.

you wake.  Smoking at other times is permitted.  Please continue inhaling.
You will receive the next form tomorrow.  Fill it out before your last
cigarette.  If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to cancel the contract.
Only you are to read these forms.  Discuss them with no one.  Please sign your
agreement and date this, then seal it in the envelope and sign the seal.  If
the envelope is tampered with or others read these, we reserve the right to
cancel the contract.

Carol brought the envelope to her father and shortly, Sarah called everyone to
dinner.
