Patti's story
Part 6

The next spring, Donna and Maxine graduated from high school.  Donna went to
live with her grandmother and go to college.  Maxine moved to the city and
got a job as a secretary to a large corporate president.  It was thought that
she got and kept the job mostly by her good looks and maybe sexual favors to
the boss.

Patti and Sheryl became best friends, almost inseparable.  When one of the
old biddies of the town saw Sheryl smoking one day, she was shocked and the
gossip of the town was that Patti was corrupting the sweet little girls like
Sheryl.

At the beginning of their senior year in high school, Patti began dating a
boy in her class named Dannny.  This was an odd pairing because Danny was
quiet, shy, and did not smoke.  Patti tried to get him to, but he was quite
adamant in refusing.  They were not "going steady", just a few dates.  One
day when Patti and Sheryl were riding in Danny's car, Donna asked Patti to go
to a movie on Saturday night.  Patti had a term paper due Monday and said
she had to stay home to finish it.  Then, oout of the blue, Danny asked
Sheryl to go with him.  She accepted and that was the end of the friendship
between Patti and Sheryl.

Sheryl married Danny after they graduated from high school.

Patti moved to New York to study art.  She got an apartment inn Greenwich
village.  Her next door neighbor was a lady of about 25 years old, weighed
250 lbs., had braces on her teeth, always had a big smile so she showed off
her braces, a very outgoing personality, everyone's friend, smoked like a
chimney, and supported herself by giving guitar lessons, playing at
coffeehouses, and working at theaters, behind stage, and performing when she
could get a part.  She was a very accomplished guitarist.  She was a lesbian.

She and Patti became friends.  Patti had never been introduced to lesbianism,
but Pam had a satrong attraction to Patti, and one evening while teaching
Patti to play guitar and plying her with wine got her into bed.  She had a
hookah, or water pipe.  She put a peach flavored tobacco into a bowl about
two inches in diameter and three inches deep.  She put the stem into her
mouth and a lighter over the tobacco.  She started to ppuff the smoke jutil
the whole top of the tobacco was lit.

Then she took a very long drag, about five seconds, opened her mouth to show
the thickest cloud of smoke Patti had ever seen, it looked more like a solid
than smoke or liquid.  She inhaled this shallowly and immediately took
another drag like the first one.  She inhaled again.  Before she stopped, she
had done this five times, when she inhaled the last drag as deeply as she
could. She held all the smoke in for about thirty seconds.

Then she exhaled a thin stream through her lips, drew in air and exhaled a
very thick stream, a third stream as thick as the second, and kept blowing
smoke for several exhales lasting at least a minute.  She said, "That's the
way to smoke!"  Then she said to Patti, "Now, you try it."

Patti took the mouthpiece in her mouth.  She did not know what to expect, so
she sucked a little smoke into her mouth, inhaled, and was surprised to find
a very pleasant taste, like peaches, and no sensation of smoke in her throat.
She exhaled and a large cloud of smoke exited her mouth.  She decided this
smoke was extra mild, about like inhalling the Carltons she had started out
smoking years bvefore.  She followed Pam's example of taking a very long pull
on the hookah, inhaling, and doingf so again, three pulls in all.  When she
exhaled, the smoke was so thick she could not see anything for a second or
so.

It was Pam's turn.  She took another 5 pumper and handed the stem back to
Patti who then took a 5 pumper also.  Soon she was on a nicotine high like
she hadn't been in years by inhaling all that rich unfiltereed smoke which
went in OH SO EASY1

Between the wind and the nicotine high, Pam pleasured Patti's body that night
in a way Patti never dreamed possible.  She had had sex with men before and
enjoyed that, but nothing like what she experienced with Pam.

They enjoyed this relatiionship for about two years until Pam said she was
moving to California where she thought her carrier would be advanced.  She
asked patti to go with her, but Patti thought she would be better off as an
artist to stay in New York.
