Part 3

I've gotten very good at smoking with my braces. I'm back to my old routine 
of smoking a pack a day and enjoying it. I hardly even notice the braces at 
all.

I had a late Friday afternoon appointment with Dr. Dan. He did his usual 
check over and tightening. I must have been his last patient for the day. As 
I was just about to leave, he asked me if I cared to join him for a drink. I 
immediately answered, I would love to. We had had small talk on previous 
visits so Dan new I was divorced.

We walked to a nearby bar, just around the corner from the office. I 
actually didn't know that much about Dan, so we talked as we walked. Dan 
himself was also a divorcee. When we got to the bar, we ordered drinks. We 
again continued our conversation. After a second drink was  ordered, I was 
really needing a cigarette. I didn't know if I should smoke or not, I didn't 
know how it would affect Dan. I thought about excusing myself and sneaking 
off to the lady's room for a smoke, but then I thought no, I should be 
upfront with Dan from the start. I asked Dan if he minded if I smoke. He 
said no that was fine. I reached into my purse pulled out a cigarette and 
lit up. I took a deep drag, it had been some time since my last cigarette. I 
noticed Dan couldn't take his eyes off me as I exhaled a long steam of 
smoke. I didn't act as if I noticed and continued with our conversation and 
drinks. I finished my cigarette, Dan watching intently the whole time, as we 
finished our drinks. We then headed back to the office were our cars were 
parked. I thanked Dan for the drinks and he asked if he could call me. I 
said, that would be nice and gave him my home phone number. He probably 
already had it in his records, but I thought this would be more personal.

Dan and I have gone on several dates since then. He seems to be a very nice 
man and I like him a lot. He always lights my cigarettes for me and has 
never made a comment about my smoking. In fact we have never discussed 
smoking at all. Dan still seems to be mesmerized by my smoking. One night 
after a night out, I asked Dan if he would like to come in for a minute. He 
had been in my apartment on previous dates, but I had something different in 
mind that night. He sat on the couch and I sat next to him. I took out a 
cigarette and he lit it for me. I then asked him if would like to try a 
smokey kiss. He asked what that was, I explained. He said he would give it a 
try. As my first husband did, I inhaled and we kissed. Dan was actually very 
good at them right from the start,much better than I was when I first 
started.

We have exchanged smoked kisses now for quite some time. I've asked Dan if 
he likes them, he said he enjoys them very much. He even told me he looks 
forward to them. I remember when I started looking forward to our smokey 
kisses. We still haven't discussed smoking at all. I think Dan being an 
orthodontist, it might not look good if he was a smoker. I'm planning to 
give Dan his first double pump kiss and we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping 
he'll enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe it will even have the same effect as 
it did on me. We'll see.
