SUZIE'S WISH
by uciboy

BEGIN PART III

People deal with anger in different ways. Some shop or go to a movie, while
others just sit and stew. Whenever Sung-Hee got really angry, she went for a
drive - usually for several hours, though one time she was so angry she found
she had driven from Los Angeles to Fresno before realizing she had better turn
around and head back home. On this particular Saturday afternoon, she just
drove around Los Angeles, muttering to herself about how life had been so
cruel to her, how she should have stayed in Korea, and what an ungrateful
child Suzie was.

"Such a stupid girl," she said as she looked at the pack of Marlboros and the
lighter she had thrown on the passenger seat. "Such a stupid and
inconsiderate daughter!"

The traffic was heavy down Western this morning, increasing her frustration
even more. The car in front of her stopped at a green light, trying to make a
left-turn. Sung-Hee honked her car horn, yelling something in Korean at the
driver who flipped her off.

All she could think about was Suzie's smoking. "Why can't she see how bad
smoking is?" Traffic continued to move at a snail's pace as she was finding
herself even more tense than usual. Staring straight ahead at the cars in
front of her, she reached for the pack of Marlboros and pulled one out, still
muttering to herself what a foolish child Suzie was as she put the 100 between
her lips. "She'll have to pay the consequences if she keeps smoking," she
muttered as her hand reached for the lighter. "Then she'll be sorry."

Sung-Hee lit the tip of the cigarette and took a hard draw, breathing the wall
of smoke into her lungs. Immediately she felt her tension start to subside.
"Where did she even learn such bad habits," Sung-Hee thought to herself as she
slowly shook her head, bringing the Marlboro up to her lips for another
powerful pump. She inhaled the smoke deeply, feeling a sense of peace now as
her body started to embrace the nicotine she was feeding it.

When she put both hands on the top of the steering wheel, she suddenly
realized there was a lit cigarette between her fingers. Immediately she put
her foot on the break, nearly causing a rear-end accident with the car behind
her as she looked at the white 100 filling the car with smoke. "Why am I
smoking," she thought to herself in amazement. She couldn't answer the
question, but she had an uncontrollable urge to take another puff - which she
did, and which felt wonderful, as if she had been doing this everyday for
twenty years.

The driver in the car behind her honked his horn and cursed at her. "Move
your ass," he yelled. Sung-Hee put her foot back on the gas-peddle and drove
her SUV into the nearest parking lot, trying to make sense of why she was now
smoking, and why she loved it so much.

Donn had a great golf game with his work buddies who all sat outside on the
patio of the bar sipping beer. Like most Korean men, Donn's friends smoked -
some of them pretty heavily. He had never picked up the habit, however,
especially after he met Sung-Hee in college. She told him she'd never speak
to him again if he started smoking. It was hardly a sacrifice, though, as he
had never found smoking to be an attractive activity, nor did he have any
desire to date a smoker (which is one reason why he found Sung-Hee so unique
among his Korean female friends).

But today, Donn was trying to understand why he couldn't keep his eyes off of
the two young women in their 30s, one a Korean American and the other a
Caucasian, sitting at a nearby table. They were attractive certainly, but not
really beautiful. He probably wouldn't have given them a second glance if he
passed them on the street. But both of them were smoking, exhaling voluminous
clouds that drifted slowly over their table. As they would bring their long
white cigarettes up to their lips, making the tip glow, he felt his stomach
churning in a sense of anticipation. Indeed, he could feel a hard-on forming
between his legs.

He wanted something. He didn't know what, but he knew he had to have it. Was
it a cigarette? Is that what he wanted? He reached across the table and
picked up the pack of Winston's that his buddy Ted smoked.

"Donn," Tedd said with surprise, "since when did you smoke?"

"Since never," he replied as he lit the cigarette. "I just feel like I really
have to have a cigarette."

His friends thought that they were about to get a good laugh as they watched
Donn take his first puff off of something as strong as a Winston. But to
their surprise - as well as Donn's - there was nothing but the expression of
pleasure on his face as he breathed in the rich tobacco smoke.

"You shittin' us about not smoking before?" Tedd asked in disbelief.

Donn inhaled another puff and settled back into his chair as he exhaled the
smoke slowly. "What have I been missing all these years," he said
whimsically. He then looked over at the two women who were now sneaking a
glance at him while whispering to each other. "Oh yeah," Donn thought to
himself confidently, "they think I'm hot."

Allison had decided to go catch a Korean movie with her friend Julie over in
Koreatown. Taking after her mother, Allison was an anti-smoker to the core
and usually criticized a film if it had too many smoking scenes - as so many
Asian films do. But when the first smoking scene came on early in the picture
- the main female character smoking in a bar - Allison felt strangely drawn to
the scene. The actress looked so sexy as she held the cork-tipped cigarette
up high, her elbow propped on the bar so that she could easily bring the
cigarette up to her lips. Allison found herself hoping there would be other
such scenes, and in fact, lost track of the story and instead started
searching in each scene for smokers.

After the movie, Allison felt odd as she tried to self-analyze why she became
so obsessed with the smoking scenes. "Is it because I hate smoking so much,"
she thought to herself. She couldn't figure it out. As the two walked out of
the theater back to their car, Julie said she wanted to get a Coke at 7-11.

As Julie filled herself a Big Gulp, Allison stood by the register, her eyes
drawn to all the cigarette advertisements on the counter. One particular item
on sale that focused her attention was a display with packs of Kools arranged
like a pyramid. Butterflies began forming in her stomach.

"Hey Julie," she said almost possessed as her friend came to the register,
"let me borrow $4.00."

"Sure," the girl said as she handed her the bills.

The 17 year old placed one pack of Kools on the counter and gave the clerk the
$4.00.

"Are you buying cigarettes?" Julie asked in disbelief. "You don't smoke!"

"Would you like matches?" the clerk asked.

Allison looked at the display of lighters nearby that were selling for $1.00.
"Can I borrow another dollar?" she asked Julie.

"No way!" she replied. "I'm sorry I even gave you the four bucks."

Allison took the matches and her change and the two walked out to the parking
lot. She immediately began to unwrap the pack, ignoring the gentle chiding of
her friend. "Come on, Julie. We're so boring; let's live a little," and she
offered her friend a cigarette.

Julie looked at her friend suspiciously but then pulled out the cigarette with
her finger tips. "Have you even smoked before?" she asked.

"No - isn't it exciting?"

Allison struggled to get the match lit, but once she did, she brought it up to
the tip of Julie's cigarette first and then her own. She immediately took a
hard draw on the Kool, getting as much smoke into her mouth as possible, and
then taking a deep breath. Pure joy was what she felt as she exhaled. All
this time she had thought her sister foolish for smoking and felt ashamed now
that she had been so wrong.

Julie, on the other hand, took a shallow puff and inhaled, coughing
immediately. "How come you aren't coughing?" she asked her friend. Allison
made no reply. She was lost in the rapture of the smoke and took in another
deep puff. Seeing how much her friend was enjoying it, Julie made another
attempt, taking a deep draw on the Kool like Allison did. When she inhaled,
she felt like she was going to vomit and once again began to cough. She threw
the cigarette down on the asphalt. "That's wretched," she said as she spit
out the taste.

"Wretched?" Allison replied in shock. "It's wonderful!"

Suzie and Lynn had spent several hours together watching a video before Lynn
decided to head home. "It's too bad you can't go on that date tonight," she
said as she left. "He doesn't smoke anyway, so it probably wouldn't work."

Suzie, still a bit depressed from being grounded, whined, "I knowwwwwww...but
he's so handsome."

"Don't worry," Lynn replied, "there are plenty of white guys out there."

Another hour passed as Suzie puttered around the house, watching TV, reading a
magazine, and finally trying to do some homework. But nothing could take her
mind off of the lost opportunity of going out with Mike. Maybe a cigarette
would help. She knew Allison and her Dad would be gone most of the day, but
she wasn't sure about her Mom. 'Hard to tell when she would cool down and
come back. Suzie decided to take the chance and walked out to the patio with
her pack of Marlboros and coffee-can.

It was a gorgeous day outside and she just stared out over the big back yard
listening to the birds. She'd take a deep draw on her Marlboro and then
exhale a cloud into the breeze which would turn it in all directions before
finally carrying it upwards. She was so entranced by the sight that she
didn't even notice her mother standing at the back door, watching her with a
smile.

"Mom!" she said with a startle. Immediately, she thought she was doomed. "I
am so fucked," she said to herself.

Her mother came outside, still smiling, holding a bag from Costco in her hand.
"Suzie," she started, "I so sorry about yelling this morning. You a good
girl. Here, I bring you something I think you like." From the bag she pulled
out a carton of Marlboro Menthols and set them on the table. Still holding
her cigarette with an expression of shock on her face, Suzie could hardly
believe what she was witnessing.

"I don' know why," her mother continued in her broken English, "but I try your
cigarette today and really like it. I bought my own, see?" She pulled out of
the bag an opened carton of Virginia Slim Menthols 100s. "This same brand
Lynn's Mom smoke, right?" She pulled a single pack out from her purse and
proceeded to light a cigarette. Suzie could still make no reply.

"You surprise, I know," Sung-Hee said after exhaling a deep puff. "I
surprise, too. Somehow, it feel like I be doing this forever."

"What is happening here," Suzie thought to herself. And she suddenly
realized, saying softly and in total disbelief, "My wish came true."

"What that?" her Mom asked.

"I said - smoking suits you. You look good!"

"You think so?" her Mom asked mischievously as she extended her arm and
admired the cigarette between her fingers. "You think your Dad like?"

A smile broke out onto Suzie's face. "Oh, I have a pretty good feeling he
will," she said as she brought the Marlboro to her lips.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Suzie and Sung-Hee sat out on the patio for an hour, smoking 4 cigarettes
each. Out went the coffee can replaced by one of the 4 designer ashtrays
Sung-Hee saw while she was out driving. The two women laughed and gossiped in
a way that Suzie couldn't remember them doing for a long-time. Sung-Hee told
her daughter that if she wanted to go out with Mike that evening, it was okay
- but when she found out he wasn't a smoker, she actually persuaded Suzie to
look for someone else who would be more accepting of her habit. Suzie thought
the whole scene so surreal as her mother encouraged her to date a smoker.
Hearing her mother say in her broken English how sexy smoking was made her
laugh.

When they heard her father drive into the garage, Suzie said to her Mom, "It's
show time." Sung-Hee smiled and ran into the house, heading for the bedroom.
Suzie met her Dad at the front door.

"Hey Daddy," she said with excitement. "How was your golf game."

Donn felt a little guilty. How was he was going to explain to Suzie that he
suddenly had the desire to smoke? More importantly, how was he going to
explain it to Sung-Hee? He couldn't even explain it to himself.

"Where's your Mom?" he asked with a quick glance around the room. Suzie could
smell the smoke on his clothes. "Oh, yeah," she thought to herself. "He's
one of us now." She finally spoke up: "Oh, she's around."

"Husband," a voice suddenly said. Donn turned his head to see an image of
beauty standing at the edge of the hallway, dressed in a white negligee and
silky pink robe, and holding a freshly lit cigarette. Donn immediately felt
his dick bulge as he watched Sung-Hee slowly bring the cigarette up to her
lips, make the tip glow, and cock her head back gently as she exhaled a stream
of smoke his way. "Come fuck me," she said in Korean.

"Sung-Hee," he chided with some embarrassment, "not in front of Suzie."

"As if she understands any Korean," Sung-Hee replied.

Suzie certainly understood the cuss words, however, but didn't let on. She
simply said to her Dad, "So this means I can smoke now, right?"

Her Dad ignored the comment, feeling magically drawn to his wife as he pulled
out his Winston's without saying a word, lit a cigarette, and followed her
into the bedroom.

"Two down," Suzie said to herself and sat on the couch to watch TV, waiting
for Allison to come home.

++++++++++++++++++++

Sung-Hee drew hard on her Virginia Slim as she closed the door and watched
Donn do the same on his Winston. Their lips came together as their tongues
joined in a smoky kiss. Sung-Hee began to unbuckle his belt and pull down his
zipper.

"Wait..." Donn said as she pushed him onto the bed and tried to pull his hard
penis out of his underwear. "Honey...hold-on. Sung-Hee!" She stopped and
sat down on the floor, taking a puff on her cigarette like a schoolgirl who
had just been told she was being naughty.

"Don't you think it's odd that we would both start smoking on the same day?"
Sung-Hee looked at him quizzically, as if he had just asked the dumbest
question she had ever heard. "Well....don't you?"

Sung-Hee, a little frustrated now at his attitude, reached over for an ashtray
and gave her cigarette a tap. "I don't care," she replied. "It feels
terrific to smoke. In fact, I've never felt more alive." Growing horny at
just the thought of smoking, she crawled up slowly to him, "Don't you think I
look good with a cigarette?" She took hold of his dick and started to stroke
it slowly. "Don't you like how the smoke slowly leaves my mouth?" she
whispered and took a puff, letting the uninhaled smoke drift from between her
lips.

"Ohhhhh, Sung-Hee," was all Donn could moan. Yes, he did like this image of
his wife holding a cigarette. He felt within him a passion that he had never
felt before for a woman.

"I'll always smoke for you," Sung-Hee whispered in a voice that Donn had never
heard before; so sensuous, so absolutely delicious. He watched her bring the
cigarette, its ash growing long, to the side of her lips and make it glow.
What an incredible sight as she inhaled the smoke through her nostrils, the
whole time continuing to stroke his now throbbing dick. The sensations of
pleasure suddenly began to wash through him, quickly and easily as it splashed
onto Sung-Hee's face with the force of a pistol. She gave out a quick groan
as her hand continued to stroke Donn slowly but more firmly until she had
squeezed-out all of the seed he had to offer.

"Ohhh, my love," he said as he held her face between his hands and looked into
her eyes. "What's happened to us?"

"Don't question fate," Sung-Hee replied as she removed her negligee and
crawled into bed with her husband.

****************************************************************

"I'm not shitting you," Suzie laughed into the phone. "They're both in the
bedroom now, fucking and smoking their brains out....Yeah, and my Mom is
absolutely obsessed with smoking....You're right. I did wish that she would
especially be addicted and turned on by smoking, didn't I?" Suzie heard the
front door open. "Gotta, go. Time for the final act. I'll call you later."

After Suzie put down the phone, she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She
quickly lit a cigarette and said, "Come on in, Allison."

Allison opened the door slowly and stuck her head in. "How'd you know it was
me?" She was surprised to see her sister smoking and asked, "Are Mom and Dad
home?"

"They're in the bedroom," Suzie said in anticipation as she waited for the
announcement that Allison was now a smoker.

"Oh," Allison replied uncomfortably, watching the cigarette in Suzie's hand
continue to smolder. "Can I talk to you for a moment," she said as she sat
down on the edge of the bed.

"Of course, Sis," Suzie replied.

There was a moment of silence. Allison didn't quite know how to tell her
sister that she was dying for a cigarette. "I...um...well...."

Suzie couldn't stand all her hemming and hawing and finally said, "Let me
guess. You tried smoking today, you loved it, and now you feel like you're
totally addicted, right?"

Allison sat dumbfounded. "How did you know?"

"Just a lucky guess," she said as she handed her the pack of Marlboros.

"No thanks," Allison said as she reached into her purse and pulled out the
half-smoked pack of Kools. She leaned over as Suzie offered her a light and
took a deep puff. "I can't explain it, Suzie," she said in an exhale. "After
just one puff it felt so right, like I was meant to smoke. Suddenly all the
bad things I used to think about smoking just kinda faded away." She inhaled
another puff and held it in her lungs for several seconds before blowing out a
thin vapor. "I don't know what I'm gonna tell Mom and Dad."

"I wouldn't worry about them," she assured her sister. "They're gonna be just
fine with it." The two sisters sat there for an hour filling the bedroom with
smoke.
