    EPILOGUE

    Dr. Amy Allen bought a lovely house in the Chesterfield area for $650,000.
What she loved about it was the sitting room in the master bedroom. She said
it was the perfect place to enjoy the first cigarette of the day.

    Sarah Miller did quit smoking during the last trimester of her pregnancy.
This was after a Amy talked to her at Karleen's request. Sarah remained a
non-smoker until she was done breast feeding her happy and healthy baby girl.
Sarah said the second best thing about quitting (the first was a healthy baby)
was she got to experience the nicotine rush again. It was even better that
when she first started. She is back to being a pack and half a day smoker and
says she never plans to quit again. Karleen and Sarah have already began to
wonder at what age little Jessica will start smoking.

    Karleen Makowski no longer hides her smoking from her clients. When first
meeting new clients she ensures that her cigarette pack is in plain view in
her purse. This breaks the ice if her clients smoke and also alerts the
militant non-smoker that they're dealing with a smoker. If this offends them
so be it, there are plenty of non-smoking real estate agents in the area and
Karleen can certainly afford to lose some business. Her and Sarah sold over 15
million in property last year. In fact it seems as if her smoking has helped
her business. Clients who smoke were so happy that their realtor smoked that
they referred her to their smoking friends. Most importantly she does not deny
herself the pleasure of a cigarette around non-smoking clients. She always
make sure to stop and have one at least once every hour. She is a much happier
person since she was able to admit to the world that she was a smoker and if
that changed your opinion of her so be it. She wasn't hiding it anymore.
