Chapter 5 - Party Time

With that the girls went back to the house, upstairs to Nadia's room to fix
their makeup.  The party was off to a fine start.  Nadia looked in the mirror
and wished she'd been able to see herself with her first cigarette.  "Well, I
guess there'll be other times."  She smiled at her image while she put on
fresh lipstick.

Nadia rummaged around in her closet finally finding her canvas beach bag.  "I
might as well throw a few things in it for later," she thought.  She added
the sun tan lotion, a big beach towel and her sunglasses.  "That should do it
for now."

"C'mon, girls!  Let's go downstairs before people start to show, ok?"  

"Sure," Missy said.  "Let's go."  

With that they gathered up their things and headed downstairs.

Bobby and Marie showed up first.  They were a cute couple, Bobby standing
about 5' 7" already and Marie, a petite 5' 1".  Bobby had sandy hair, blue
eyes, while Marie was a blond with a cute pixie cut with eyes of incredible
green.  Her breasts were small but adequate, and her shapely legs showed nice
tone.  Her nails were done in pink sparkle, both fingers and toes.  Her
lipstick matched perfectly, right down to the gold flecks.  Naturally, her
eyeshadow, though a bit deeper in color, perfectly complimented her
"terminally cute" presentation.  Bobby and Marie were leaders in the school,
both of them honor role students and very good on the debate team.  Some kids
have it all.

Brent and Tommy showed up next.  Kwami, Tammy, Melanie, and Bethany arrived
shortly after.  Soon it was a stream of kids from the middle school.  Beth,
Carol and Tami, followed by Billy, John, Susie and Sherri.

Nadia directed them to the soft drink coolers and to the closets designated
for hanging up the things they'd wear later that evening.  The boys would use
the downstairs bathroom for changing, while the girls would use her parents'
room and the large bathroom upstairs.  Girls did, after all, need a bit more
space for things!

Kenya, Keisha, Brittany, Kayla, Jerry, Ken and Larry arrived in a group.

Soon the house was filled with the usual teenage chatter.  Nadia invited
about 25 of her friends, but asked her parents if it was ok if a few more
showed up.  It always seemed to work that way.  Charlie and Rene said they
were ok with it, just so they didn't tear the house down.  Nadia promised.

The pool deck was quickly filled with teenagers laughing and playing, boom
boxes blaring out the latest hits.  Charlie and Rene did their best to stay
out of the way and let Nadia play hostess.

The sandwich and snack trays were put out in the kitchen.  Drink coolers were
hauled out to the deck, the guys trying hard to impress the girls in doing
so.  Suntan lotion was applied, hands lingering perhaps a bit too long here
and there, but a playful slap on the hand kept things in good order.

Nadia recruited a few of the guys into the cookout brigade.  Soon the burgers
and hot dogs were brought to the prep table by the big grill Charlie, Nadia's
dad, had set up earlier.  Sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and onion were set out on
big platters.  Condiments were brought from the fridge and packages of buns
soon followed.  The coals were just right.  The savor scent of burgers and
hot dogs grilling soon filled the air as the hungry teenagers gathered for a
bit of party fare.  There is nothing like a group of active teens to make
food disappear in a hurry.  Happy tummies were evident as one after another
came back for more.  Nadia of course wore her "Kiss the Cook" apron winking
coyly, gathering not a few chaste kisses, as she flipped burgers and turned
hot dogs, moving them quickly to the platters as they were done.  She
abandoned her post briefly.  More utensils were needed.  "I'll be right back!
I need something from the kitchen.  Don't anyone eat the raw ones while I'm
gone!"  Nadia wound her way through the crowd to the house and into the
kitchen.  She was digging around in the flatware drawer for another butter
knife when a thought hit her.  "Oh yeah, mom keeps the spare lighters in THAT
drawer.  Hmmm, I might as well get one for myself, just in case, right?"  As
luck would have it, Rene had been grocery shopping on Thursday and had picked
up a couple of carton of cigarettes each for herself and Charlie.  That added
to the remains of two other cartons along with the lighters pretty well
filled up the drawer.  Nadia looked around, closed the drawer and went out to
get her beach bag.  She put it casually over her shoulder and went back to
the kitchen, immediately opening that drawer again.  "They won't miss a pack
with all those in there."  She slipped a pack of her mom's Virginia Slims
Menthol into her bag along with a white, plastic lighter.  Her heart was
beating a bit fast as she kept checking over her shoulder, but no one was in
her line of sight.  She carefully hid them at the bottom of her bag, got the
knife she was originally looking for and headed back to her party.

Most of the activity was centered on the deck and in the pool as she spotted
Jeannie sunning herself on one of the deck chairs.  "Billy?" Nadia put on her
most charming smile.  "Would you be a prince and take over the cooking for a
while?" she asked.  

Billy nodded.  "Sure, Nadia.  Um, can I use the apron?"  

"Um hmm, but be careful, Billy.  You WILL get kissed!"  She quickly took off
the apron, slipping the neck strap over Billy's head, giving him a playful
kiss as she did.  Nadia joined Jeannie, claiming the adjacent chair.  The sun
was bright as Nadia put on her shades and got out the suntan lotion, applying
it to her already tanned body.  She waved confidently to a couple of friends
who'd just arrived.  "Get your suits on!  And grab a couple of cokes while
you're at it, ok?"  

"Thanks, Nadia!  Great party, girl!"  Nadia smiled appreciatively.

Jeannie and Nadia lounged like a couple of cats.  The warm sun shined
lovingly on their young bodies, attracting the attentions of the boys who
looked admiringly in their direction.  Jeannie's white bikini contrasted
wonderfully with her black hair.  Nadia's pink one seemed in keeping with her
long, wavy, blonde hair.  Their sunglasses masked the fact that they did
their fair share of admiring of the boys as well, their whispered comments
not overheard by those around them.  "Bobby's hot," Nadia giggled to Jeannie.  

Jeannie raised her shades and ran her tongue over her lips smiling, raising
her shades for a better look.  "Cute little butt on him, too, girlfriend,"
Jeannie winked as Nadia giggled.  They each took a sip of their cokes and
settled back to soak up some more of the sun.

The afternoon was going well as the kids enjoyed themselves, some swimming,
some just lounging, and all of them talking and eating, trying a dance move
here and there on the deck.
