Patti's story
Part 5

Saturday night came. At 8:10 pm Donna's car pulled up in front of the Clark
house. Patti came running out the door and waved good-bye to her mom. She
got into the back seat of Donna's car, said hi to Maxind and Donna, and asked
where Sheryl was.

maxine said, "Sheryl doesn't go go parties."

Donna asked, "Patti, do you have plenty of cigarettes?" Patti said she had
an extra pack.

Donna drove out of town, turned down a coountry road, went about two miles
and stopped. Patti thought Donna might be lost or had to go to the bathroom.
Instead, Maxcine and Donna got out. Patti also got out and then saw some
other cars parked and heard people talking. Patti thought this was a strange
place for a party.

Then she saw a teenaged boy walking toward them. He called, "Maxine!"

Maxine called, "Walter!"

When Walter got close, Maxine gave him a big hug.

She then said, "Walter, you know Donna, and this is Patti."

Walter said, "Hi Donna, Hi Patti."

When Patti saw Walter, she decided he definitely was NOT handsome. He had
squinty eyes, wore very thick glasses, had greasy brown wavy hair, which had
one curl danglling in the middle of his forehead.

He said, "Let's get a drink." The girls followed him a few yards up the road
and a group of people were milling around what looked to be a big silver or
aluminum colored barrell. Walter walked over to it, picked up a sleeve of
plastic cups, took 3 out, put one under the tap on the barrell, pulled the
handle, and filled it with liquid. He handed the cup to Maxine who drank it
all as if she were dying of thirst. He filled a cup, gave it to Donna who
took a small sip, and filled a cup and gave it to Patti who took a small
sip. He then refilled Maxine's cup and took one for himself.

Patti had tasted beer before, but only a couple of times when, or rare
occasions, her father had brought some home and given her a taste. Now she
had a whole cup in her hand. Walter and Maxine mingled and introduced Patti
to several people. Walter seemed to know everyone there. The oldest people
there did not seem to be over 18, and at 14 Patti seemed to be the youngest.
Everyone seemed to be smoking except Maxine and Walter.

When Donna had finished her cup, she said she was going to leave, and asked
Patti if she wanted to come. Walter said if she wanted to stay he would take
her home. So she stayed. She drank and visited with about everyone there,
about 25 or 30 teenagers. She really was an outgoing person, and no one was
a stranger to her.

Patti was surprised that although there were a group of underage teenagers
drinking beer that no one was using any profanity or getting rowdy. Everyone
seemed well behaved. Someone got out a radio and played some rock music and
most of the teenagers danced. She had a dance or two also. She found that
most of the group was from a nearby town known for two things: (1) Most of
the people were practicing Catholics and (2) being from a German heritage it
was known as a beer drinking community.

She guessed that the kids liked to drink beer too.

Maxine and Walter seemed to disappear for about an hour. When they
reappeared, Maxine's clothes seemed to be out of place somehow, and Walter
had a big grin on his face.

Maxine kept drinking until she could barely walk and Walter said, "Come on
Patti, time to go."

By this time Patti had drank 6 cups of beer and she was feeling the effects.
She felt very good, happy, and was not walking too straight either. Also
she had to pee real bad. Walter drove her home, and after a bathroom stop,
she stripped and hopped into bed. She lit a cigarettte, took four deep
inhales, felt all warm inside, and since the alcohol took away any
inhibitions, started playing with herself. She continued dragging deeply on
the cigarette, and brought herself to a climax, helped by the nicotine high.
After a few minutes she dozed off.

She awoke the next morning to the worst headache she had ever had,
accompanied by dizzyness and nausea. She made her way to the bathroom, lay
on the floor and proceeded to throw up. After a few minutes she got up,
washed her face, and went back to bed. She felt better in that her nausea
was gone, but still had a monstroous headache.

Her mom called to her, "Patti, want to come to breakfast?"

Patti called back, "No Mom, I don't feel very good. I just want to rest."

She woke up about four hours later feeling much better. She lit a cigarette,
took a single cheekhollowing drag, inhaled and held it in for about ten
seconds before exhaling. She smoked the rest of the cigarette the same way
and chained a second cigarette off the first. By the time she finished the
second one, she felt good and went to the kitchen for breakfast.

That afternoon she went for a run. She ran for thirty minutes, did not
breathe hard, came home and took a shower. She called up Sheryl to see if
she could come over and finish her school homework there.
